For the most part, Jewel's reports are self-explanatory. But here's how to find some specific classes of information that may not be so obvious.
- Go to Reports & Graphs / Account Journal
- In the top left box, (highlighted in blue and defaulted to checking account) enter the desired account number or account name. Or use the little triangle drop-down feature to find and choose it
- Choose the desired date or date range
- You can click on any individual transaction to learn more about it
- Go to Reports & Graphs / Check
- Set your desired date/date range
- Set the “Sort Order”, either by Date, Ck #, Payee or Account
- You will be able to find any check you wish, using those search parameters
- Go to Reports & Graphs / Check
- Set your desired date/date range
- In the top left box, (highlighted in blue and defaulted to checking account) enter the desired account number or account name.
- All the checks for that date range, posted to that particular account, will appear.
- Go to Reports and Graphs / Contribution
- Set your desired date/date range
- In the top left box, (highlighted in blue and defaulted to “All Accounts”) enter the desired account number or account name.
- All the donations (but not deposits through general journal entries) to that account will be listed
- Go to Reports and Graphs / Contribution
- Set your desired date range
- Donors are in alphabetical order. Scroll to find the one you are searching for
Or:
- Go to Reports & Graphs / Receipts
- Choose “Single” and enter the name of the donor, then click OK
- Choose the date range in the top left
- You can choose “Summary” or “Detail”
To export to Excel or another spreadsheet program, click the "Copy to Clipboard" button at the top of nearly every report. Then Paste (ctrl V) into a document, spreadsheet, etc.
